My goodness where do you start? I have a feeling that I am going to need to be writing a lot of these ideas down for the next 9 weeks. It's awesome to have some fresh and refreshed ideas to take back to the classroom.

One of my refreshed ideas is utilising the talk to text, of course! There are some students that would seriously benefit from this in my class, it's also improved quite a bit. It will be great for students when adding in new words in their writing. Read/write I used a bit last year but as things do they go by the wayside as there are so many things to think about. I will certainly be re-introducing these into my classroom.
There are the new opening and closing of tabs that I have learnt Command+shift+T to reopen a tab and right click a tab for when I am as usual being tabolicious. The usefulness of creating headings and changing these so that I can link in people to a particular part of text. Changing the headings to a default in google docs.

And my extenstions bar is looking slightly more full and I have a few more apps in my docs to experiment with when commenting on the students work as well as making my planning slightly more interesting. Pretty sure I'll be reflecting more on this at some stage soon but will be including these within my teaching but without overloading the introductions. My takeaway that I would like to implement would be encouraging my students to use the text to talk and read/write in their work, which I will reintroduce to the whole class.

Thanks for joining the DFI Jules. Sometimes it is great to be reminded of tools that would be useful to us, but we had forgotten about. I totally agree the voice typing would be a wonderful took for some of your learners. A helpful tip is for your learners to cut the bottom from a paper cup and speak into that to record their voice. This helps to cuts down on the extra noise.
