And go. So, here are all the super awesome fantastic and amazing things that have happening in part 2 of DFI cohort 2.
Some things to remember to add to my teaching practice: using voice comments to focus on feedback for students work. Especially those students who don't enjoy the reading as much and also to incorporate different learning styles.
Hangouts are great for collaborative work, just thinking these could be used within class aswell for possibly for developing some social skills (e.g. active listening).
Use rewindable learning more often within the class - e.g. through capturing voice memos and then place these in a folder on the learning site that all students can then go back to when they are not sure what the instructions were or how to do something. This is actually quite an easy way rather than using screencastify. Something for me to investigate would be the class on air to view ideas of what other teachers are doing.

Google Keep: This will be a great way to record moments of thinking (especially when reflecting a lot during my running/walking adventures). This will be great to go back and review these thoughts and then implement them, as long as of course I take my phone with me, which, is not often during the week if I can. It is a great way to keep websites and ideas that I think of as I am doing my research for learning without having to send myself websites and then save them. Another idea is to add a comment back that can be used for student work especially for those comments that get repeated consistently.
Gmail - yay for colour coding of folders and for being able to star my emails with different colours and symbols. Also organising my mail so that things that more in categories.
Great to learn some more short cuts as well such as:
GD together
GS
GT
GC
GI
V
/
Calendar -
Adding hangouts to my calendar. And using these shortcuts to manoeuvre through calendar a tad bit quicker.
W, D, M, Y, A, G, C, S, X, J(next), K(previous) - depends on the view you are in of course.
Also worked out that my quicktime doesn't seem to want to record my chrome tabs, so that was a little bit annoying.
That's all for this week....

Thanks for your great rangitaki Jules. There was so many great ideas to take in today and it was so exciting to learn how to colour code in gmail. Google Keep will be a wonderful extension for us to use and it is so easy to find the notes when we need them. Thanks for Hanging out with me today - this will certainly come in handy with your class.
